[Greetings] Hello! I'm Imasato, representative of Ima-chan Stargazing Guide. Thank you for visiting our website.
Okinawa's abundant nature and breathtakingly beautiful starry skies. With the desire to help people experience this awe not just by "seeing" it, but more clearly and deeply, I launched Ima-chan Stargazing Guide in February 2026.
[Why I'm so captivated by the starry sky and Okinawa] Actually, I originally started taking pictures of flowers, trees, and natural landscapes with my smartphone when the smartphone era arrived, but I was struck by the beauty of Ishigaki Island and Okinawa Main Island, and I strongly felt that I wanted to share this感動 (deep emotion/awe) with more people! From there, I became completely engrossed in the allure of space, and my encounter with the latest "4K smart telescope" was the deciding factor in starting this business.
[What I do] At our shop, we use the latest equipment to deliver vivid images of the universe that were previously invisible to the naked eye or conventional telescopes. In addition to stargazing guides and night tours, we also focus on "visualization services" to capture the beautiful starry skies and landscapes you see that day in photographs and videos. "My greatest joy is to help you take home unforgettable memories of Okinawa in the best possible way."
[Ima-chan's little secrets and favorites] I work as a stargazing guide, but I actually love Okinawa's nature during the daytime as well. On my days off, I like to drive along Route 58 or Awase Beach on the Pacific side, or go on trips to find secret scenic spots. During the tour, I'd be happy to share some of Okinawa's charms that aren't in guidebooks, as well as some local insider stories!
